Hey! I'm Joel 👋

I'm not the best at describing myself, but one day I'll sit down and build this page just how I envision it 😅

What I do

I'm a Software Engineer with a passion for building tools that solve real-world problems. Currently, I work as a Technical Editor at Kinsta. My day-to-day involves writing technical articles, reviewing content from other authors, and ensuring everything meets high standards. I also contribute to brainstorming sessions, write marketing materials, changelogs, and more.

Outside of my full-time role, I code, explore new technologies, build side projects, write articles, and mentor aspiring developers. I'm a strong advocate for community building, having led Open Source Community Africa chapters in Ibadan and Okitipupa, both of which I started from scratch.

In the coming months, I aim to develop open-source tools that help people with various tasks and serve as a gateway for Nigerian developers to get involved in open source.
